Online Card Class ~ Day 2 Card
Hi everyone I hope you are having a fabulous day. Fall is here and I love the rain and the changing of the colors. So gorgeous.
Todays card was inspired by Kristina Werner. Her card for our class showed us how to do a tri-fold card and I wanted to do this by extending a giraffe all the way through the card. Oh what fun this was.
So I started out with my giraffe from Avery Elle and stamped him probably 5 times. I masked off the head and bottom of the neck each time so I could extend his neck all the way down three cards.
Then I masked him piece by piece so I could create the fun clouds.
After I did the giraffe I felt like there was something more that needed to be added, so I grabbed my trusty Paper Smooches and found this adorable bird. I always associate giraffes with little birds for some reason, no idea why, but he was so cute and I loved how his wings are extended but short so you know he needs that balloon to help him fly up to his friend.
Then of course the leaves and hills. Since this particular stamp doesn't have a body i wanted it to look like he was above the trees, Way above the trees, so I used leaf stamps from Paper Smooches Zoo Crew and Leafy Greens. The sentiment is also Paper Smooches. You know me can't get enough Paper Smooches. ( Shout out to Kim ~ DT just saying ).....
Leave a comment and tell me what you think and if you try this tri-fold card link me a pic of what you came up with. The possibilities are endless. Don't forget to follow me!!!
Have a great day

Online Card Class ~ Insider
Yes another post today, crazy I know.
I started my Online Class with Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire and Oh what fun the class is and I have only watched the one day. I wanted to get my creation up so I didn't get too far behind. I love putting things on the inside of my cards so this class was perfect. Lots of fun ideas.
This is what I created.
I really like doodlebug paper and accessories. So I felt this was so fun to make. You know when you have an idea and it just comes together perfect, well that was this card. So easy and so fun.
I used a couple of different stamps. The tag was from the new SSS release Medium tags and the Trick or Treat is from Lawn Fawn. I fit perfect on the tag I was so happy. I colored the candy corn with Copics and cut them out. They are also from Lawn Fawn.
On the inside I wanted the little bat from Paper Smooches Falling for You set. I used an extra piece of paper from the card front and made the strip for my little bat to hang from and add the sentiment from the set. A little Boo brad topped it off. After I took the pics I decided to round the bottom right corner for a little interest and it looked great.
Fun card. I wish all of my ideas came together this easy. I can't wait to see what the class has in store for me today and what my brain will come up with to share with you.
Don't forget to comment and tell me what you think and follow me for more fun creations.
Happy Crafting.
Wedding Shower Project
Hi again,
Lots of posts today.
My soon to be sister found this great find at a swap meet and wanted to make it up for the Bridal Shower to have a countdown to the wedding day. Since she says I am so crafty ( boy do I have her fooled ) She asked if I would come up with something.
Now this was not easy considering her favorite color is black. Yes black. I couldn't make flowers or anything to decorate the board black so I fell back on her favorite flower a daisy. At the wedding her brides maids will be wearing a champagne color so I thought champagne and pearls would be lovely together.
So this is the finished product. I used my Cameo and cut out all different sized daisy's and layered them for the gorgeous effect. I added pearls to the middle of each flower for an added wedding feel.
I cut all of the words out of white vinyl and just stuck them on like a sticker. It ended up working out perfect and the Bride loved it (bonus).
So that was my project. It was super fun and I think turned out pretty darn good.
Don't forget to comment and tell me what you think. Thanks Happy Creating.

Wedding Shower
Hi All,
I am excited to share a couple of projects with you. The first one is a wedding shower card I did for my soon to be sister. I love the Paper Smooches set Royal Cuteness. It is so fun for weddings, little girl cards and just plan wishing someone all they dream of kind of card.
So I wanted to use all of the stamps in the set but alas that was not possible. So I decided to use a few to make it like a story from front of envelope to inside of the card. So to have a bit of fun since it is my brother she is marrying I made him the from on the front of the envelope. He is so cute and his crown has a bit of sparkly and I added the little heart and some more wink of stella to that.

Then you turn it over to open the envelope and there is a big smooch on the flap.
Of course then on the inside is the sentiment with a wand.
And here is one last look at the card. I added lots of sparkle to the dress and added rhinestones to the bottom of the dress and the crown because all Brides need sparkle.
So much fun and She fell in love with the card. Her knight in shining armor.
Head to my next post for a look at the board I did for the shower. It turned out really cute.

Paper Smooches Designer Challenge
Okay I really wanted to enter a project into the PS Designer Challenge and with Halloween coming I thought this project was appropriate. Now this project is not an original Nichol Magouirk at nicholmagouirk.typepad.com did this similar project on her blog several weeks ago with Lawn Fawn stamps. The haunted mason is from the the same company SVG.com. I completely fell in love with Nichol's so I decided it would be the perfect opportunity to use all of my really adorable Paper Smooches halloween stamps and dies. Okay, here is my Disclaimer. This house was NOT easy. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. It is possible but it does take alot of work and time. So if this is something you want to conquer just know that ahead of time.
The paper I used was from a collection I had from CTMH. I love how they all come together. All of the people are from different PS sets, Spookalicious, Halloweenie and Falling For You. I love the coordinating dies.
So I first assembled the house. What fun that was. Now I need to take a photo at night because all of the windows light up. I am so excited to share that tomorrow.
My little gargoyle sits on top to protect the Mansion. I the skulls are peeking through the windows and light will shine through their eyes. Creepy!!!
I just love this witch. She was so fun to color. I used Copics and colored her and then added Wink of Stella to her dress in Orange and Purple to her hat band and socks. Hard to see but she is really sparkly.
My little Vampire is soooo fun. His cape is lined with a little sparkly also. Just a touch for fun..
Of course it would not be a haunted mansion without a spider web. I don't like spider ( not even a little) so they have to be really cute in order for me to even look at them and I couldn't find one so he is hiding from me somewhere inside the mansion.

The 31 is from a Tim Holtz collections Love Love as an address plaque. Then for the door knob I used a witches boot brad. (no idea where I got it from)

And thats the project. I love PS. I will try to get a good night time pic and post that tomorrow.
Thanks for visiting. If you attempt this project please leave me a note I would love to see what you do with it and how your assembly was.
Happy Creating. Big Hugs.

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge
Okay everyone I am stepping out of my comfort zone and I am entering a card into a Smooches Spark challenge. You can go to the Sparks link http://papersmoochessparks.blogspot.com/ to see the actual challenge picture.
I used flowers from many different stamp sets to get the look I wanted. This was a hard challenge. I think I colored and cut out like 100 flowers before I decided on these. I layered them all up and placed them over the Paper Smooches Vase. The sentiment is from the Many Thanks Set from Paper Smooches and I embossed the side of the card with a cuttle bug embossing folder. So there it is.....
Hope you like it. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
Happy Creating. BIG HUGS!
Birthday Cards
Hey guys I am finally getting a bit of time to post some of the cards I have been working on. I have been super busy and have not had a chance to get things up. I actually have 2 Birthday cards to share I made for family.
This one was super easy. I cut the soccer ball on my silhouette and made it a top open card. Added the banner and there you go. Quick card for all of the soccer lovers.
My next card was super fun to make. I love copic coloring and I love this image from Saturated Canary. Now I have a disclaimer. I wish she had a one piece bathing suit on but I could not find one and this one is called Cali Girl. My sister in law to be lives in Cali and she is as cute as this card. She loves the beach and actually my brother proposed on the beach so I felt this was appropriate for her Birthday.
I used some pattern paper from a 6x6 pack to make the waves. The sentiment is from Fresh Squeezed Lemon. They are one of my new favorite stamp designers. (Smooches is still my #1) After I assembled everything I used my Wink of Stella pens to add a subtle shine to her hair and glossy accents on the glasses and phone. To finish it off I added the little wood boat from Studio Calico and added a cute little heart. I just love this card. Makes me want to hit the beach post haste.

Card Catch Up!!
Hey all,
I was having fun playing with some new inks and the "To the Point" stamp set from Avery Elle. I made a few cards I wanted to share.
First there was this card. (It doesn't have the set from Avery Elle) but I love love love this little Gecko Guy. The gecko guy on the Insurance commercials kill me. I love him to death. Anyway, I used my grass die to cut the layered grass and colored the back ground with Broken China from Tim Holtz and lots of water. Tied it up with a string and there you go.
This card I did with the Avery Elle Stamp set. I stamped the arrows in light neon colors (you can't see them very well) Then I stamps the little stamp every other one. I used the Many Thanks set from Paper Smooches for the sentiment. This was not my favorite. It worked though.
I liked this version better. I did the same thing and stamped the arrows. The pattern came out accidentally. I was going to skip every other one and forgot and stamped the one right next to the other one. Opps, so I ended up with this pattern which I actually like better. I cut them out and mounted every other one on foam squares. This sentiment was also from Paper Smooches. I think this one turned out much better but I still am playing with other ideas. I love stamping this stamp and then over it. The possible color combos are endless.

GIFT CARD HOLDERS
Ok These were made for my mom. She is having a party and wanted something cute to put the gift cards in. This was inspired by a really cute card that Kristina Werner did awhile back on Simon Says Stamp. I loved her card so I decided to make it a miniature.
These were so fun. The stamp set is PaperSmooches Green Thumb. If you go to SSS and search Green Thumb and scroll down a bit Kristina has a video on the technique. The tops fold down to hold the card in so you can seal them.
So much fun.
Big Hugs, Happy Creating!!!!
FINALLY SOME CARDS
Hi All,
I know I haven't posted in a bit but I have not been neglecting my card making. I have made several cards and a gift card holder I would like to share.
I wanted to play with the Dylusions inks for these cards. So I took some Marshmallow Card Stock and colored the paper first. After that I die cut all of the butterflies. I LOVED the paper it was so fun to play with the inks. They are awesome and they work great together.
I had extra butterflies so I made this card. Both are really fun cards and I love the brightness of both. They are so spring. That is what I love.

Week 1 Day 4
Hi All,
Todays online class challenge was to make a card in 10 minutes. Wow was this hard.
I decided to go simple and use the #3 sketch for this one. I used my Grunge stamp from Hero arts for the back ground and stamped it in Butter Bar from Hero Arts.
The paper and star sticker were both from a CTMH set called Stardust. The card went together super fast. I just adhered the paper square and the sticker. Cut the banner and white embossed the sentiment.
The inside has another little star with the Your the Bomb sentiment from Paper Smooches.
I liked using the set of paper and stickers to make the card because it went together so quickly.
Great challenge. You all should try it. It is really good to challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone.

Week 1 Day 3
So I am just getting to posting my cards for day 3 and 4 so I have 2 cards and I also need to do Day 4. YIKES I am getting behind. So here is Day 3. I wanted to make something for my son who is leaving next week for the AirForce Special Forces training. I love this Paper Smooches stamp set and dies. They are so adorable.
I used Velum as the middle wave so it looks like waves. I also put velum in the circles. I used the Brush Strokes stamp for the sun (I love this set for that). The inside (not shown) says. "More than all the drops in the ocean." I can't send him any fancy cards while he is in basic so I wanted this one to be really fun.
Hope you like it.

Hi again,
This must be a record two days in a row and cards too! This online card class really has the juices flowing. I love trying the new things and stepping up to the challenges.
Our challenge for today was to try out one of the new techniques we learned. I had so much fun with this card it was so easy and my vision became a reality. YEAH!!!

Our challenge for today was to try out one of the new techniques we learned. I had so much fun with this card it was so easy and my vision became a reality. YEAH!!!
The stamp I used was from Penny Black. She is so adorable. I water colored her and fussy cut her out. Then I did the background. This technique was so fun. I used the brush strokes set from Simon Says Stamp and used my ranger distress inks to drag the images down the page. When I finished with that I took my Butter Cup hero arts dauber and dabbed it on my craft sheet. Misted it and then squished the paper into the color, a technique I learned from Kristina Werner. I love how it changed the colors just slightly. This is a great technique I love making my own paper. Thank you Shari Carol for sharing this great technique. Great class today!!!
Card 2 day 1
Had to post this pic again so I could download to my class. I am new to this blog things so be patient. Scroll down to see all of the card details.
Online Card Class Day 1
Howdy,
I started my online class yesterday and I have two cards to share, inspired by Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire. I already am in love with this class. These cards I made were so much fun. I just need to get a bit faster at planning and creating. LOL

So this first card I struggled with a lot. I am not used to having constrains to do cards since I am so new but I want to stretch my creative juices and really work hard at this class. So I stamped the 4 colors required on velum using the feather from My Peeps stamp from Paper Smooches . The little strips I cut out of white card stock and then used the colors from our palette to color them. I love how vibrant the colors came out.
This one was so much easier to do. I had an idea of what I wanted and it all came together fairly easy. I have to say I wish there was a die for every stamp on the planet, I hate fussy cutting. But these cute little butterflies from Flap Happy (Paper Smooches) turned out so cute. I water colored them and added some pretty sparkle with my stella pen, added some jewels and here you go.
Let me know what you think of my work for day one. I will post day 2 as soon as I can finish up the cards.
Happy Creating.

Patriotic Birthday Card, YW handouts
Hi everyone!
I used the great stamp set from Simon Says Stamp that came with my monthly card kit. Awesome!!!! The little houses are from CTMH called neighbor. It turned out so sparkly it just reminded me of the fireworks we watch every year.
Next we have another YW's Camp to prepare for. Mckenzie's secret sister loves horses this time so we used the cute horse from Silhouette and put him on the outside of all of her bags with a cute note Mckenzie wrote to her secret sister.
Then for this one, I cut out a purse on my Cameo and she put candy inside and we attached the tag. They turned out so cute. I think her secret sister will be excited to receive her goodies each day.
Well I have been slacking on posting because of the holiday. Since it is my husbands birthday on the 5th I decided to do a card that was patriotic. We decided to move to Utah after attending a 4th of July celebration and watching the fireworks. I wanted to depict this in my card.
