I wanted to post a couple of cards I worked on in the past little while.

I did this one for a friend.  It was inspired by Jennifer Mcguire ink.  She did hers with a little different flower set but this is the one I had.  I really need a Misti so I can make several at a time.  She made a whole set of them with her Misti.

OK this one I was very proud of.  One of my first shaker cards.  My daughter is a hippo lover so I made this shaker card for her.  It turned out so cute.  She just loved it.

Hopefully I will be posting more now that I am home full time. YAY!!!
Thanks for stopping by come again.

Online card class - Stretch you dies

Oh my goodness it has been forever.  I have been doing lots of things crafty wise but I haven't been uploading all of the photos.  I can't figure out why my iPhone isn't auto sending everything to my computer.
So since I started another fabulous class with Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire I figured now was as good as any to get to posting.

Ok so my first card was inspired by a card Kristina did with leaves.  I loved her card but I need Birthday cards bad so I used some distress inks and made a background and then cut out a bunch of balloons.  The technique was fairly easy and so fun to do.  You have to take the class and see the fabulous cards she made.

This was sooooo much fun to make.  Jennifer McGuire is the queen of techniques. I almost always try her techniques out and this one was no exception.  I had these three little guys I colored with copics in the online card class for copics.  I hadn't done anything with them so I decided today was the day.  I just love these little guys.

You open the card and it reveals all the cute little critters.  Super easy and so much fun I will probably do several of these.  Jennifer did one with a heart and the Mama Elephant stamp set Photo Bomb that I am in love with.

The class is so much fun I am trying to do a card with each card they demo.
Lots of fun.

Online Card Class - Stenciled

I haven't posted in quite awhile but I took this Online Card Class and I am so pumped about all of the great stuff I learned.  I am posting a ton of cards today to go along with the class.  It was so much fun and I am still making more cards.  I love watching these talented ladies in action they are amazing.  Thanks so much for making this class another success.

Day One
I created this adorable card inspired by Julie Ebersole.  I used my Hero Arts Stencil "Tweed Pattern" and misted it with my Dylusions ink sprays.  This was sooooo fun and simple.  I mounted mine on some black card stock and I loved the way it turned out.  Thanks Julie.

Next up was a card inspired by none other than Laura Bassen (laurafadora.wordpress.com).   She always has the greatest cards to share.    I heat embossed the adorable heart stencil from SSS then inked the back ground with my distress inks from Tim Holtz.  I love how the embossed image repels the ink.  My stamped panel is from My Favorite things "Celebrate Life" stamp set.  This is the cutest card so bright and fun.  Thanks Laura for the inspiration.

Next we have the amazingly talented Jennifer McGuire www.jennifermcguireink.com.  Right now Jennifer is my go to blog for amazing ideas and videos.  From Jennifer's inspiration I made this Happy Birthday card.  Her's was a thank you card but I loved the bright colors so much I made mine a happy Birthday card.  I loved how she showed to flip the stencil and create a whole new look.

This card is also inspired by Jennifer.  I wish you could see all of the simmer on this card.  In real life it is soooo gorgeous.  Another lesson on shifting your stencil to create something beautiful.  I can do so much with my stencils now I never knew.    This stencil is from My Favorite Things called  "Petal Circles".  My sentiment is from Paper Smooches.  Such a great technique.

Day 4

This card is from Shari Carroll (http://shari-design.blogspot.com).  Now before I start Shari is a person that I always feel stretches my creative ability.  I loved this card but when she did hers she used acrylic paints.  Great technique but I do not have the paints she does so I decided to try it out with inks.  The impression from the dies was not as defined as Shari's but I loved the end result anyway.  I used Tim Holtz clockwork stencil, Rays and also stripes.  All really fun stencils.  I really think these two cards turned out great.  I cut the paper in half after all the inking and got to make two cards out of it.  Bonus!!

Finally I made these cards inspired by Julie again.  These were so much fun.  I wanted to do a blue colored one since the one Julie did was in oranges I decided to try blues and I absolutely love how it turned out.  I embossed the stencil from Hero Arts called Lotus pattern and then inked it with distress inks.  My three favorite right now, peacock feathers, mowed lawn and tumbled glass.  Such great colors.  The strip on the side is washi tape and the sentiment is from SSS "Inside and Out Sayings".

I have several more cards in the process I am making from this class but I have to wait for a couple of supplies I ordered.  So I will have to post those later.

I would like to thanks all of the great teachers at Online Card class and especially Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire for bringing together such amazing talent.

Online Card Class ~ Day 2 Card

Hi everyone I hope you are having a fabulous day.  Fall is here and I love the rain and the changing of the colors.  So gorgeous.

Todays card was inspired by Kristina Werner.  Her card for our class showed us how to do a tri-fold card and I wanted to do this by extending a giraffe all the way through the card.  Oh what fun this was.

So I started out with my giraffe from Avery Elle and stamped him probably 5 times.  I masked off the head and bottom of the neck each time so I could extend his neck all the way down three cards.

Then I masked him piece by piece so I could create the fun clouds.

After I did the giraffe I felt like there was something more that needed to be added, so I grabbed my trusty Paper Smooches and found this adorable bird.  I always associate giraffes with little birds for some reason, no idea why, but he was so cute and I loved how his wings are extended but short so you know he needs that balloon to help him fly up to his friend.

Then of course the leaves and hills.  Since this particular stamp doesn't have a body i wanted it to look like he was above the trees, Way above the trees, so I used leaf stamps from Paper Smooches Zoo Crew and Leafy Greens.  The sentiment is also Paper Smooches.  You know me can't get enough Paper Smooches.  ( Shout out to Kim ~ DT just saying ).....

So this is the card from top to bottom.  I love how he turned out and how there is a surprise in the middle of the card too.

Leave a comment and tell me what you think and if you try this tri-fold card link me a pic of what you came up with.  The possibilities are endless.  Don't forget to follow me!!!

Have a great day

Online Card Class ~ Insider

Yes another post today, crazy I know.

I started my Online Class with Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire and Oh what fun the class is and I have only watched the one day.  I wanted to get my creation up so I didn't get too far behind.  I love putting things on the inside of my cards so this class was perfect.  Lots of fun ideas.

This is what I created.

I really like doodlebug paper and accessories.  So I felt this was so fun to make.  You know when you have an idea and it just comes together perfect, well that was this card.  So easy and so fun.

I used a couple of different stamps.  The tag was from the new SSS release Medium tags and the Trick or Treat is from Lawn Fawn.  I fit perfect on the tag I was so happy.  I colored the candy corn with Copics and cut them out.  They are also from Lawn Fawn.

On the inside I wanted the little bat from Paper Smooches Falling for You set.  I used an extra piece of paper from the card front and made the strip for my little bat to hang from and add the sentiment from the set.  A little Boo brad topped it off.  After I took the pics I decided to round the bottom right corner for a little interest and it looked great.

Fun card.  I wish all of my ideas came together this easy.  I can't wait to see what the class has in store for me today and what my brain will come up with to share with you.

Don't forget to comment and tell me what you think and follow me for more fun creations.
Happy Crafting.

Wedding Shower Project

 Hi again,
Lots of posts today.

My soon to be sister found this great find at a swap meet and wanted to make it up for the Bridal Shower to have a countdown to the wedding day.  Since she says I am so crafty ( boy do I have her fooled ) She asked if I would come up with something.

Now this was not easy considering her favorite color is black. Yes black.  I couldn't make flowers or anything to decorate the board black so I fell back on her favorite flower a daisy.  At the wedding her brides maids will be wearing a champagne color so I thought champagne and pearls would be lovely together.

So this is the finished product.  I used my Cameo and cut out all different sized daisy's and layered them for the gorgeous effect.  I added pearls to the middle of each flower for an added wedding feel.

I cut all of the words out of white vinyl and just stuck them on like a sticker.  It ended up working out perfect and the Bride loved it (bonus).

So that was my project.  It was super fun and I think turned out pretty darn good.
Don't forget to comment and tell me what you think.   Thanks Happy Creating.
